Stephan and Jerome- Rugby Team Captains

Hola Edronitas y Edronitos

I'm Stephan, the one with the Cowboy hat. Jerome has the Peruvian Indian hat thing. The only people we have ever killed deserved to die.

We are Sandrine's two older brothers.

I was always more of a fascist, which is why I like cowboy hats and why I've ended up living in the States for the last twenty six years(Chicago). Jerome is cooler than me so he still lives in Mexico, is a pilot for a major airline and wears politically correct little Incan hats.

Anyway.

I found out last night from a previously unknown admirer that there was an Edronites blog!

More on the secret admirer later..... but not too much more, because she has strict parents, Mexico is still a Catholic country, and although I'm getting divorced and live by myself, I'm technically still married-

So the day after the night which I'm not going to say too much about, I get on the blog and check it out- And the truth is that after carefully reviewing the blog and hoping to connect with old friends, I recognized absolutely no one-

The reason I don't remember any of you has much less to do with memory loss from aging or with my only casual experimentation with strange substances and a lot more to do with the fact that you were all about 3 forms below me.

It's an unwritten high school rule that anyone more than two classes under you does not exist- So don't feel bad, it actually also applied to Sandrine, my sister- I didn't actually realize I had a sister until my second or third year of college- Ask Sandrine she will confirm it..

Now the blog thing wasn't a total waste of time.

For one thing Nalini seems hot----

What are you doing in Kansas, Nalini?

Don't you know Chicago is an Edronites Alumni's hub??

I found out last night from Lucia that Shanti lives here, and so does Toby Redshaw (best friend of Diego Genoves) and of course so do I - Nalini look how much fun Shanti is having by the Lake!! I bet in Kansas you can't run by the lake in a red dress - not without getting arrested or committed anyway. So get your ass back to Chicago..

Now even though you little Edronitas and Edronitos never made it on to my radar screen, because I was older, and therefore by definition much cooler, some of you might actually remember me.

For one I was the Saxon goalie in the Latino-Saxon soccer games. Apart from the fact that we always lost and that I have bone spurs from diving on the concrete playing field, I'm still traumatized by the manic and feverish zeal of the Latino fans. For a @#$%# English school there were not a lot of Saxon fans. I was also captain of the rugby team for the first two years we had a team, my brother became captain after me- I think that's when Edron actually started winning games- The day I left Mexico remains one of Jerome's fondest memories-

Back to the present- I'm a VP in a multinational steel company, I still go to Mexico all the time because we have a facility in San Luis Potosi and all my family now lives in Mexico. I have two very lovable kids, a not quite as lovable soon to be ex-wife, a nice house, (actually two right now) and a new found Edron groupie friend I didn't know existed until a few days ago. Groupies are fun.

On further reflection I don't really want to say that much about last night.

About 28 years ago, in the Edron courtyard, I got a long stern lecture from one of my teachers about how its not nice to kiss and tell. The lecture was too late to do any good for the particular incident under discussion but I haven't forgotten it.

So all I'll say is that for all you Edronitas out there with long buried crushes on me "mi casa es su casa"-

Actually you are welcome to stay with me if you are ever in Chicago even if you didn't have a crush on me and even if you are an Edronito.

Lucia will tell you how to get to my house.

Now we just need to get Lucia to tell people how to post directly on the blog without having to go through her. Scorpio's are such control freaks.
